These cardigans are super soft and stretchy and last for many years. I have personally had my own cardigans from this collection for over 6 years and they look as good as the day I first bought them. I wear them regularly, and they wash and wear beautifully. @MissKillerCurls pictured in our real life photos wears a size 14/ L which is her true size. Her fit advice is that she would size up if wearing this cardigan without a vest under it to avoid gaping. 

I'm a size 18/20 but have a large bust so I wear a size 4XL if I want to button it up, but a 2xl if I'm wearing it open with a vest top.
